Mr. Roberson designed, developed and supervised the programming and installation of CBS’s complete computerized reporting system. This system has been used by several institutional owners as an example for their other management companies to follow. He trained and supervised property managers in such areas as budgets, variance analysis, cost controls, cash flow analysis, escalations, CPI increases, percentage rents, lease negotiations, sales strategies, tenant meetings and owner meetings. Mr. Roberson participated in the marketing of CBS’s services as well as conducting monthly meetings with owners to discuss and analyze the current month’s activity on the owner’s properties.
CBS’s clients included some of the largest institutional owners such as Pacific Mutual Life Insurance, Merrill Lynch, First Chicago Trust and also included many smaller regional and local owners. Properties included office buildings from 10,000 square feet up to multiple high rises, retail centers, both small and large, and apartment complexes. Mr. Roberson’s experience encompassed all phases of property management in commercial, retail and residential. He spent considerable time directing areas of operation in offices in Tucson, Albuquerque, Dallas, Oklahoma City and El Paso. CBS’s success resulted from the professional attitude and experience of its principals and staff. This same attitude and experience is now being used within CPI to assure each owner that their property will receive the professional management demanded by homeowners who know what it takes to make a project successful.
